Thank you all for taking the time from your Thanksgiving weekend whether you were relaxing, recovering from turkey dinners or hosting friends and family to help out with Feed The Valley on Monday!!
A BIG thank you to Justin and his team for figuring out how to host it in an inclusive manner!! We saw lots of smiles as people drove through…just so happy to have an event like this.
Turkey dinner stats:
🦃2 turkey hats perched on some notable hosts
🦃29 turkeys cooked
🦃650 meals were served
🦃18 staff members from The Rocky River Grill who devoted Monday to cooking and preparing meals
🦃12 volunteers from the Food Bank who assisted

Our treasurer, Jim Neilsen, has counted the donations and has reported that a total of $5,275 was raised in donations from the grateful folks who rolled through the drive-through to pick up their meals.

The CVFB would like to thank the Rocky River Grill for their continued support for the CVFB, the community for their participation, and our volunteers who continue to shine each and every time.    THANK YOU!
 
Through the donations we’ve received from this amazing event, we have been able to accomplish what we do best, feeding our community while continuing to fight hunger.
