The holiday season kick-off in Invermere is a huge explosion of fun and good cheer for everyone – it’s called Light Up! And it’s a much anticipated tradition every year as the days grow shorter and the nights colder.
The Invermere Light Up Santa Claus Parade is a town favorite.
The Parade begins at 6 pm leaving from Pothole Park, down 7th Ave and will end at the Eddie Memorial Arena.
Parade spectators are encouraged to bring portable stools, or lawn chairs with them to sit on along the parade route! Remember to grab a hot chocolate and dress warm! Santa Claus is coming to town!!
All proceeds collected by volunteers along the parade route are donated back to The Columbia Valley Food Bank.
